Asian Chicken Tenders, Honey-Glazed Carrots and Tropical Fruit Rice

Cooking Sequence
- Prepare chicken through step 3 - 5 minutes
- Prepare carrots through step 2 - 5 minutes
- Prepare fruit rice through step 3 - 10 minutes
- Complete chicken, carrots, rice and serve - 10 minutes

Asian Chicken Tenders
Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon five spices powder
1 (7 1/2-ounce) jar duck sauce
2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
1 pound chicken tenderloins
Steps
1. Preheat 2-sided tabletop grill.
2. Combine in medium mixing bowl: seasoned salt, five spices, duck sauce and teriyaki sauce. (Reserve 1/4 cup for dipping.)
3. Using tongs, add chicken and fully coat with marinade. Marinate at least 10 minutes.
4. Place chicken on grill, discarding bag and marinade. Close lid and grill 3-4 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Serve with reserved dipping sauce.
Honey-Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
1 (16-ounce) bag baby carrots
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 cup light brown sugar
Steps
1. Place in microwave-safe bowl: carrots, butter, honey, seasoned salt and brown sugar.
2. Cover, and microwave on high for 5 minutes.
3. Remove from microwave and stir. Microwave an additional 5 minutes. Serve.
Tropical Fruit Rice
Ingredients
1 (15 1/4-ounce) can tropical fruit salad (drained)
1 1/2 cups water
2 cups instant rice
salt and pepper, to taste
Steps
1. Place fruit in medium saucepan.
2. Add water. Cover and bring to boil on high.
3. Stir in rice. Cover, remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
4. Season with salt and pepper; serve. (Makes 6 servings.)
