Chicken Divan With Aromatic Rice

Total Time - 25 minutes / Makes 4 Servings

Cooking Sequence

  • Prepare chicken and begin to cook - 10 minutes
  • Prepare rice and complete chicken; serve - 15 minutes

Chicken Divan

2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
Large zip-top bag
1 3/4 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon butter
3 cups frozen broccoli florets
1 (10-oz) container refrigerated light Alfredo sauce
1/4 cup white wine
2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese

  • Place flour and seasoned salt in large zip-top bag.
  • Cut chicken into bite-size pieces; place in bag (wash hands).
  1. Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Seal bag; shake to coat. Add butter to pan, then add chicken, with flour; cook and stir 4–5 minutes or until chicken begins to brown.
  2. Add broccoli and cover; cook and stir 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in Alfredo sauce and wine; reduce heat to low. Cover and cook 2–3 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Sprinkle with cheese and serve.

Aromatic Rice

4–6 fresh chives, finely chopped
2 (8.8-oz) pouches pre-cooked roasted chicken-flavor rice
1 tablespoon butter

  • Chop chives.
  1. Place all ingredients in microwave-safe bowl and cover.
  2. Microwave on HIGH 3 minutes. Stir and serve.
