Publix is Top Supermarket for Customer Satisfaction

LAKELAND, Fla., Feb. 22, 2010 — Publix has been named a 2010 Customer Service Champ by BusinessWeek. 

The Customer Service Champs list highlights the top 50 providers of excellent customer service and the techniques, strategies and tools those companies use to make the customer its top priority.

BusinessWeek has ranked Publix on its list every year since its inception in 2007. This year, Publix moved up to No. 5 and was only one of two supermarkets on the list. In 2009, Publix ranked No. 6.

"Our associates are committed to offering premier customer service," said Publix President Todd Jones. "It’s gratifying to see how well we are thought of by our customers and the industry."
